Warning to Hezbollah: Lebanon rejects unauthorized military actions
Not to bypass the state in decisions related to war
As tensions escalate following Israel’s strike on Iran, Lebanese authorities have privately conveyed a stark warning to Hezbollah not to bypass the state in decisions related to war, Lebanese sources told Al-Hadath channel.
The group has been reportedly informed that any attempt to involve Lebanon in a confrontation unrelated to its interests will not be tolerated and will carry full responsibility for the consequences.
Lebanon has made it clear to Hezbollah that it will not allow the country to be dragged into a conflict it has no part in, the sources said, adding that responsibility for dragging Lebanon into any confrontation will fall squarely on those who act outside the state framework.
