Qassem: Israeli aggression against Iran will not go unanswered

Israel and the United States will not be able to diminish Iran’s regional role

Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem strongly condemned the Israeli attack on Iran, describing it as a “serious criminal aggression” carried out with the blessing of the U.S. administration.

In a statement released on Friday, Sheikh Qassem accused Israel of seeking to silence Iranian support for the Palestinian cause, affirming that this operation constitutes a direct threat to the stability of the entire region. “This attack will not go without response or punishment,” he warned.

He praised Tehran’s restraint in the face of Israeli provocations, while assuring that this aggression will only strengthen Iran’s position: “Israel and the United States will neither influence Iran’s strategic choices nor reduce its regional role.”

He also expressed his condolences to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the Iranian people, paying tribute to the senior Iranian officials who were killed, whom he described as “martyrs.”

Sheikh Qassem concluded by reaffirming Hezbollah’s full support for Iran in all measures it deems necessary to defend itself, warning that “the aggressors will only reap shame, defeat, and isolation.”
