Syria to reopen Al-Arida border crossing with Lebanon
Despite ongoing renovations
The General Authority for Land and Maritime Crossings in Syria on Monday announced that the Al-Arida border crossing in the Tartous countryside will reopen on Tuesday morning, allowing the passage of travelers between Syria and Lebanon.
According to a statement carried by Syrian state news agency SANA, the reopening comes despite ongoing renovation and maintenance work, as a measure to facilitate civilian movement during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
