Two earthquakes struck Turkey and Greece

Two powerful earthquakes struck areas near the Turkish-Greek border on Monday night, causing casualties and material damage.
In Turkey, several people were killed and others injured as a result of a 5.8-magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast of the southwestern tourist city of Marmaris.
Almost simultaneously, another 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck near Greece's northern border with Turkey, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). Residents of large areas in Greece and Turkey felt the two tremors, causing panic.
Geological authorities warned of the possibility of aftershocks in the coming hours.
