Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara and Foreign Minister Asad al-Shibani arrived in Jeddah, and then headed to Mecca to perform Umrah. They were welcomed at King Abdulaziz Airport by Prince Saud bin Mishal, Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region.

President Ahmed al-Shara, along with his accompanying delegation, departed Riyadh on Monday after a successful visit.

During the visit, he met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, where they discussed the latest developments in Syria and ways to support its security and stability.

The Syrian president expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Crown Prince for his sincere sentiments and Saudi Arabia's stance towards Syria and the Syrian people. He stated, "During the visit, we discussed the latest developments in Syria and ways to support its security and stability."
