Qassem: Iran will ultimately prevail

Trump’s threat to assassinate Khamenei is a sign of weakness

In a televised interview, Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem affirmed that Iran will ultimately prevail, as it is "in the right and has been subjected to aggression."

“Iran has the leadership of the valiant and resolute Supreme Leader, committed to preserving the nation’s dignity and strength,” he said.

Qassem highlighted the unity of the Iranian people, stating, “The Iranian nation has set aside internal differences and stands united in the face of American and Israeli aggression.”

Commenting on recent remarks by former U.S. President Donald Trump, Qassem said: “Trump’s threat to assassinate Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is both vile and a clear sign of weakness. It reflects his ignorance of the spiritual and political stature of this prominent religious authority, not only among Muslims but across the globe.”

He further warned that “any attack on Iran will carry immense consequences and plunge the entire region into serious danger.”
