Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam issued a memorandum declaring the closure of public institutions, municipalities, schools, and universities that operate on Saturdays ahead of the municipal and mukhtar elections scheduled to take place in the South Lebanon and Nabatieh governorates.
The closure aims to facilitate the electoral process and ensure smooth logistics for the final phase of the nationwide municipal elections.
