President Aoun receives invitations to summits in France and Qatar

Two official letters of invitation

On Tuesday, President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received two official letters of invitation. The first, from French President Emmanuel Macron, was delivered by French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro. The letter extends an invitation to President Aoun to participate in a summit scheduled for June 9 in Nice, which will focus on key issues such as physical and digital connectivity, as well as energy challenges in the Mediterranean region. The second letter, delivered by Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, was issued by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. This invitation pertains to the Second Global Summit on Social Development, which will be held in Doha this November.
