Following the Israeli threats to strike Hezbollah and its areas of influence, in response to the massacre that took place in the town of Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan, the world is moving in an attempt to control the expected Israeli response to Lebanon.

Amid this atmosphere, the mediations are working to de-escalate, through American diplomacy, which is looking with great concern at a large explosion between Lebanon and Israel, and therefore worked to avoid the full-scale war and postpone it, in an attempt to disable the massive Israeli response bomb to the "massacre", pending efforts to reach an agreement to calm tensions in southern Lebanon.

Also, the "Akhbar al-Yawm" agency has learned that there are international-Western contacts that have taken place in recent hours, at the highest levels (Ain al-Tineh, Grand Serail, Yarzeh) in order to search for ways to reduce the intensity of a major explosion, which may turn things upside down.

Meanwhile, Lebanon has been living in a state of breath-holding since last Saturday, following Israeli threats of a strong response, but a diplomatic source reveals via "Akhbar al-Yawm" that we will witness a remarkable decline in the level of Israeli escalatory positions, in exchange for a high pace of mediation to calm down the situation.

The source excludes hitting the southern suburb of Beirut, because Hezbollah has established the equation of Tel Aviv versus the suburb.
