Palestinians say that "Hamas" is a gift to Israel... Why were they silent until Gaza was destroyed?!

Any Western official may say that it was Israel that created the "Hamas" movement, and contributed to its strengthening. The effect of his words may not be quite resounding, especially since it is possible to link them to certain political dimensions in wartime.

For example, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has repeatedly stressed that Israel facilitated the development of Hamas and financed it indirectly in order to play on the division of the Palestinians by creating an opposition force to the Fatah movement.

But for any Palestinian official to say such a thing, in this sense, takes the matter to another framework.

Here we also point out, for example, that Palestinian National Council member Osama Al-Ali confirmed a few days ago that Israel was the one who formed Hamas, and that the leader of the movement in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, is Israel's greatest friend, and that there were Israeli liaison officers who served as a link between Tel Aviv and Hamas, and that the movement was working for Israel, and that it served it by separating the West Bank from Gaza, which has always been an Israeli dream.

The Palestinian official confirmed that the October 7 operation is planned, considering that Hamas is a "gift from heaven" to Tel Aviv.

Regardless of the divergent Palestinian - Palestinian divisions and calculations, however, we ask, since these facts have been known for a long time by the Palestinians before anyone else, why did they not talk about them years ago, in order to straighten things out?

A source close to the Palestinian file stressed that "the regional game is bigger than a round of military escalation or a war, and it is too broad to be limited to the Palestinian issue, or any country in the region itself, and it affects regional stability in general".

In an interview with "Akhbar al-Yawm" agency, he called on the peoples of the region to "understand that there is a big game, and to maintain its stability by itself, and to fight for its own issues, in a way that makes this struggle confined to it, and without any other external parties to enter into it".

The source stressed that "any expansion of the parties involved in a particular struggle on an internal issue in any country in the region will not be within its proper framework, but will serve external, regional and international agendas in the end".

He concluded: "in the case of Lebanon, for example, and in parallel with the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip since October 7 until today, the Lebanese State must work to implement international resolutions before anything else. The Lebanese people must do the same. It is the international resolutions that provide legitimacy and international protection, and it is the ones that prevent any external aggression that Lebanon can be subjected to, as an independent and stable state that deploys its army on its borders, instead of being a state linked to armed militias and regional decisions outside the state borders".
