UAE Records Highest Temperature for May: 51.6°C

The United Arab Emirates recorded Saturday its highest temperature ever for the month of May, since records began in 2003, reaching 51.6 degrees Celsius, according to a report by Agence France-Presse, citing the National Center of Meteorology.
The center stated in a post on its X platform that "the highest temperature recorded in the country today was 51.6 degrees Celsius in the Sweihan area (Al Ain) at 1:45 PM local time."
