Presidential specifications changed, president must have international community's confidence

The developments that swept the region from Lebanon to Syria were rapid, and will have a great reflection on Lebanon, which has lived for a long time under the influence of a certain line that considered itself to be the victor and the strongest, so it took over the management of all the joints of the state and did not accept to participate with other parties, and the best evidence is the continuous disruption, especially since after the last parliamentary elections in the spring of 2022, Lebanon entered an unprecedented government crisis, with no president, a caretaker cabinet with limited powers and a deeply fragmented parliament, until now.

In this context, an informed source believes that the regional data must impose itself, especially after it seemed obvious that the Syrian President did not understand many of the signals proving that the balance of power in the region has changed radically from Syria to Turkey to Iran, as each threat was accompanied by implementation.

Hence, the source believes that at the internal level, it is necessary to return to the Taif agreement, taking into account the composition of the political situation in Lebanon, regardless of the "profit and loss", no team can cancel the other no matter what the circumstances, and therefore it is necessary to reach an internal understanding leading to the completion of entitlements, and then proceed seriously towards nation-building.
