A rocket fired from Lebanon killed a civilian who was trapped in a building in the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona Wednesday, Israeli medical organization Magen David Adom said.

Emergency teams searched the workshop and "found a 25 year old who was unconscious, with no pulse and not breathing", and pronounced dead at the scene, it said.

Hezbollah had targeted Kiryat Shmona in response to the killing of 7 people in an overnight strike on an emergency center in Habariyeh.

The group said it targeted the settlement and a command center in Kiryat Shmona.
