Diplomatic and government sources confirmed yesterday that the Minister of State at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, will travel to Lebanon next Monday to meet with President Nabih Berri, PM Najib Mikati and Foreign Minister Abdalla Bou Habib, noting that meetings are being prepared for him with others.

These sources told the Aljoumhouria newspaper that the visit had been postponed for a week due to government arrangements in Qatar, which ended with the decision of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, to appoint Al-Khulaifi to his new position, after having held the post of deputy minister of Foreign Affairs.
