The outgoing Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, received in his office at the ministry the special Coordinator of the United Nations in Lebanon, Joanna Wronecka, with whom he discussed the prospects for joint cooperation.
The UN official stressed "the need to protect journalists and ensure their personal safety, as well as the need to combat hate speech and not spread false news and rumors".
