International companies are cautious about working in Lebanese waters because of the American pressure and because of the presence of an Israeli letter sent to the United Nations on 23/12/2021, warning companies from working for Lebanon in the southern blocks after Lebanon opened the second licensing session. The only solution is to prevent the Israeli from extracting gas from the Karish field based on the letter of Lebanon, which was sent to the United Nations on 28/1/2022 in response to the Israeli letter, which considers that the entire area, which includes the field "Karish" is a disputed area."

The source warned against continuing to deceive the Lebanese by saying that Lebanon is committed to its wealth and will not allow the Israeli enemy to invest in the disputed area, while giving a deadline for companies to start drilling in Lebanese blocks, and at the same time they agree to extend for years the deadline for companies to start exploration, as it has become necessary to deal with this sovereign file, which affects Lebanese national security with unity and full clarity, because Lebanon will lose a lot of its wealth and financial revenues.
