For a long time, the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, had asked the state to move and close the plateforms allowing the manipulation of the dollar, and it did not move a finger, despite the fact that the Banque du Liban carried out its duty and launched an exchange platform Sayrafa that is supposed to determine the exchange rate in the parallel market, but surprisingly, the last word remains to these platforms, and traders rely on them to determine prices. Officials in the head of the authority all the way to the last judge are held responsible for this collapse.

In this context, information told "Akhbar al-Youm" agency that Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi is following up on the issue of dollar evasion and manipulation of the exchange rate through electronic applications. It affects the livelihood of all Lebanese.

For its part, sources in the Ministry of Finance considered that tracking these platforms is very difficult, especially since we do not know their source, whether in Lebanon or outside, stressing that determining the exchange rate of any currency is subject to scientific considerations, including supply and demand, stressing that the Ministry of Finance is working to control the price according to the exchange platform Sayrafa.

On the parliamentary level, Representative Qassem Hashem, who is close to President Nabih Berri, considered that despite the criticism of the platforms and their role in manipulating the currency price, the relevant authorities have not yet reacted, stressing that everyone is concerned to find a solution, starting with the security and judicial authorities to take all measures and decisions that contribute to putting an end to this manipulation.
