After Israeli violations...Hezbollah: Israel does not abide by agreements or charters

Fneish to "Akhbar al-Yawm": Our position on the presidential entitlement has not changed, but we are waiting for the data

Commenting on the ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, deputy and former minister Mohammad Fneish said in an interview with the "Akhbar al-Yawm" agency, that "the main problem is with the occupation and its criminal practices", stressing that "this enemy does not abide by neither an agreement nor charters".

In response to a question, Fneish considered that "the enemy is taking advantage of Hezbollah's commitment to the agreement to commit violations that amounted to more than 50".

In this context, Fneish pointed out that "criminality" is the main characteristic of an Israeli, and this has been proven by experience, as it turned out that he does not care about anything, being armed with American support makes him bypass laws, regulations and values... He added: "It is no secret to anyone that the Israeli still occupies part of our land in the Kfarchouba hills and a number of other border points, meaning that we have not yet taken our rights at the national level, knowing that his greed for our land and water is visible to everyone", pointing out that "the existing team currently in the Tel Aviv government expresses the reality of this entity and its project".

In response to a question about the deployment of the army in the south and whether this will lead to any problems, Fneish asserted that "the Resistance has no problem with the army", saying: “Because all of us must look for ways to ensure Lebanese sovereignty, restore our rights, maintain our internal stability and disrupt the enemy's projects", considering that "if we commit to these goals there will be no problem, and if it happens, it will be dealt with based on this commitment".

Regarding the Israeli threat to target the army if the agreement is not implemented? Fneish stressed that "we will not accept such interference in Lebanese affairs, while the Israeli must abide by what has been agreed, knowing that nothing in the agreement gives Israel the right to interfere in the mechanisms that are followed in Lebanon, and therefore the Lebanese army is responsible for applying security and implementing what has been agreed", repeating: "The Israeli has no right to deal with internal affairs or to threaten and intimidate by force”.

He stressed that "the Israeli army has proved to be weak on the ground, while the resistance is still strong and remains committed to defending Lebanon and standing against Israel's greed", saying: “Therefore, it is necessary to distinguish between internal political differences and the American- Israeli project".

On the other hand, in response to a question about the fate of the presidential election session set for January 9, Fneish replied: "The Speaker Nabih Berri manages this constitutional process and is keen to accomplish this entitlement, while Hezbollah's position has not changed".

He concluded: "But we must wait for the data on the basis of which we build our position which resonates with the interest of Lebanon and the relationship with our allies".
