Kuwaiti medical aid plane in Beirut

Kuwaiti medical aid plane arrived on Wednesday at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut. 

The aid plane was received at the airport by the Director General of the Ministry of Public Health, Fadi Sinan, and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Kuwaiti Embassy in Lebanon, Minister Plenipotentiary Abdullah Al-Shaheen.

In his delivered word, Sinan said that Lebanon is used to Kuwait’s constant help in such difficult times, indicating, “today, we are launching with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Kuwaiti Embassy an air bridge between Lebanon and Kuwait.”

Sinan added: "We are receiving today fourteen tons of medical aid, and in the next two days, two aid planes will arrive, each carrying approximately forty tons of relief supplies."

He thanked "the State of Kuwait and all the Arab and friendly countries that constantly stand by Lebanon."
