The Elysee Palace announced in a statement that "French President Emmanuel Macron will receive in Paris on Friday Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Army Commander Joseph Aoun, in wake of internal and regional tensions."
The Prime Minister is expected to arrive at the Elysee on Friday noon, according to the palace media office. “The army commander will also be present,” the palace media office added, without giving further details.
