Western diplomatic source to "Akhbar Al-Yawm": this is what led to the adoption of decisive measures!
The Middle East will not be stabilized without settlements or deals between the Russian and American sides, as despite tensions and wars, communication channels remain in place, and in this context, a Western diplomatic source revealed via the "Akhbar al-Yawm" agency that there is a Russian-American "negotiation" on the Syrian situation from the angle of Iranian influence, and the Ukrainian-Russian crisis.
As for the Syrian file, the source dates back to the Forties of the last century, specifically since the days of former US Secretary of State George Marshall, where Washington recognized the Russian presence in Syria, and even today there is no objection to the military base in Latakia established more than five decades ago, but the current crisis lies in the expanding Iranian influence in Syria, which is a source of tension in the entire region.
Therefore, the source says: Russia should exert its pressure and make the main effort inside Syria to root out the "Iranian – Shiite"spread.
Especially after several data were recorded on the ground calling for decisive measures to be taken, most notably the purchase by Iranian financiers of large real estate plots in the heart of Damascus, in addition to unprecedented commercial income.

The source stresses that these measures are a priority for the American side, which considers Syria to be a launching base for all security, military and terrorist actions in the region.
As for the Ukrainian file, the source explains that it will be seriously raised after the US presidential election, saying: if the current President Joe Biden wins, the path to a solution will be long, but if the former President Donald Trump wins, the file will find its way to a solution quickly, so that the outlines of the latter's foreign policy are clear, especially in terms of: reviving the nuclear agreement with Iran to revive the grades of the previous agreement, strengthening relations with Russia and thus addressing the Ukrainian crisis, eliminating Iranian arms in the Middle East.
