In a statement published on Tuesday, the Union of Depositors denounced "the existence of a fifth column which seeks to torpedo the movement of April 4, claiming that there is another movement on the same day".

The Union explained that "no action will resist the depositors' pain, their anger and their movement this time".

The Union reiterated its appeal to all those interested in the case of bank deposits to meet on April 4 at eleven o'clock in the morning in front of the Banque du Liban.
