Will old pages be closed between the two parties?
A few days separate from the return of President Saad Hariri to Beirut, in the wake of talk about his return to public and political life in Lebanon, where the main question arises: "What about the relationship with the Lebanese Forces and whether it can be restored”.
An official in the Future Movement, via the "Akhbar al-Yawm" agency, says that "the stage is not to settle accounts while the fate of the country is at stake, and what is required today is to close old pages and open new pages".
The same official points to openness to all local parties, revealing that besides the popular reception, especially near the mausoleum of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, there will be a surprise at the level of political delegations that will visit the House of center.
For its part, sources in the Lebanese Forces deny the existence of a deep or fundamental disagreement between the two parties, as some imagine, explaining via "Akhbar al-Yawm", that between the LF and the Future there is a natural difference between two components, so it is important -according to the sources- from all this to organize differences to preserve democracy in the political life.
Sources indicate that the relationship with President Hariri is good, but his decision to suspend his political life is his business, while his influence exists and his history is full at the political level, so no one interferes with his personal decisions, and here it must be noted the successful alliance between the LF and the Future in the Battle of the Bar Association, as well as things are heading to a similar alliance in the Battle of the engineers union elections.
The sources reveal that a delegation from the "Strong Republic" bloc will visit Hariri on the anniversary of February 14, to confirm that what unites the Future Movement with the LF and each component of the sovereign components is deeper than the divergence of opinions between them, and therefore what unites the LF with Hariri is great, especially at the level of the struggles, sacrifices and blood of martyrs for freedom and sovereignty and the expulsion of every occupier.
