A series of intensive contacts and consultations between the political forces and parties will begin next week, especially after speaker of the House of Representatives Nabih Berri invited the parliamentary blocs and political forces to a seven-day dialogue in the House of Representatives and then to hold consecutive sessions to elect the president.
In this context, parliamentary sources say, via "Akhbar Al-Yawm" agency "that a number of blocs welcomed this invitation.
The sources add: "it is possible that the dialogue will take place with the aim of bringing the Lebanese together with each other and establishing some kind of reassurance in the internal arena after all the pressures that have taken place".
They consider that "this dialogue can open the door to holding legislative sessions, because the country urgently needs to approve a certain number of proposals and bills".
The sources pointed out that "the dialogue will be held within the Parliamentary Council, which is time-bound, as this order came in order not to put an argument in front of the opposition team, which was embarrassed, according to sources, especially that President Berri confirmed the holding of consecutive sessions to elect a president of the Republic".
The sources conclude by saying: the blocs and the forces will announce their opinion on the subject successively, knowing that the Change deputies reject this invitation until now... Will the dialogue be held in September?
