The State Department spokesman said there has been  serious ceasefire violations by both sides in Sudan.

" These violations have caused us, as the facilitator of these talks, to seriously question whether the parties are prepared to take the necessary steps to fulfill the obligations they have undertaken on behalf of the Sudanese people.
