Coral Oil launched its first Electric Vehicle’s (EV) charging station, during an opening ceremony held at its service station at Zouk Mosbeh.

The event was attended by Mr. Antonio Yammine, Board Member and Managing Director of Coral, as well as directors, employees, and business partners of the company.

In his speech, Mr. Yammine expressed “his pride in seeing Coral take a major step towards a cleaner, and a more responsible and sustainable future”. Moreover, he invited “Coral’s clients and community to join the company in its journey to create a green Lebanon”.

The launch of the charging station comes within the framework of Coral’s strategic initiatives, aiming to improve the levels of services and to constantly modernize the stations’ network. Furthermore, the initiative was taken following the increased demands in the market to provide EV charging stations. It is also part of Coral’s mission, that consists of providing ecological solutions to its clients, while supporting Lebanon’s transition to using green energy.

It is worth mentioning that the charging stations installed at Zouk Mosbeh service station are of the Supernova AV model, produced by the global manufacturer Wallbox. These charging stations were designed based on a highly advanced technology, thus promising speed, efficiency, and optimal reliability. Having a capacity of 60 kilowatt/hour capacity, these charging stations provide a range of approximately 100 kilometers in less than 15 minutes.
