General strike observed in the West Bank in protest against Israel’s killing of Palestinians in Jenin

The occupied West Bank observed today a general strike that paralyzed all activities in protest against the Israeli army assault on the northern West Bank city of Jenin yesterday and the killing of six Palestinians.

Shops were shuttered and public transportation came to a halt in all West Bank cities following a call by the political parties to observe a general strike.

Meanwhile, thousands of Palestinians took part in the funerals for the six killed in Jenin.
