In light of the crisis and the blocking of internal horizons for solutions, attention is still turned to diplomatic movements, in particular the movement of the Saudi ambassador to Beirut, Walid Bukhari, given the confidence placed in the role that the Kingdom can play to get out of the bottleneck, starting with giving the green light linked to the presidential election.

In this context, a visit today was made by Bukhari to Bkirké, where he met the Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi.

While the Saudi ambassador left without making a statement, a source close to the situation in Bkerké revealed through "Akhbar Al-Yawm" agency that Bukhari's visit in the morning had been planned for some time. time, and this comes under the weight of hesitation in the face of the presidency's file.

It said: The visit was also part of the completion of meetings and communication between Saudi Arabia and the Maronite Patriarch, and had two main purposes:

First: Inform the Patriarch that the doors of Saudi Arabia are still open to him and that the previous visit to the Kingdom must be completed by the date determined by the Patriarchate.

Second: In the file of the presidency of the republic, Ambassador Bukhari clarified that the Kingdom has not interfered and will not interfere in this file, nor will it return to Lebanon as it was before in the event of arrival of a president belonging to Hezbollah or close to Hezbollah.

 It seemed clear that Bukhari was referring to presidential candidates in Lebanon in the tweet that yesterday wrote.
