The outgoing Minister of Energy and Water, Walid Fayyad, received the Qatari Minister of Energy in the company of the executive chairman of Qatar Energy, the executive chairman of the company Total Energy and the executive director of the Italian company ENI.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Fayyad and his visitors signed a symbolic model of the two maritime blocks 4 and 9, before the signing of the official agreement on Qatar's accession to the consortium on oil and gas exploration, alongside Total and Eni.

The signing of the agreement will take place in the Grand Serail, under the sponsorship of the Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, and will be followed by a joint press conference, then a working lunch in honor of the visitors.
