The Bank of Lebanon has issued the letter in which it guarantees the payment of the cash advance amounting to $ 62 million for the unloading of two ships loaded with diesel fuel for the benefit of EDL, and it is expected that these two ships will begin to be unloaded in the coming hours according to a plan developed by EDL in the tanks of the Zahrani and Deir Ammar plants.

The information indicates that the Ministry of Finance has sent to the Bank of Lebanon the necessary transactions relating to a cash advance for the unloading of two ships loaded with fuel, worth $ 42 million, in addition to what is related to the renewal of the fuel contract with Iraq, amounting to $ 427 million, and the information indicates that the Ministry of Finance has not yet sent the cash advance to the Central Bank related to the maintenance of production plants, worth $ 54 million.
