Why does the abduction of the two Syrian children not become a problem of local and international public opinion?
Daoud Rammal - "Akhbar Al Yawm"
The story of the two Syrian children, Mohannad and Ghaleb Majid Aroub, must be transformed into a problem of local and international public opinion, and it must mobilize the remaining living consciences in Lebanon and abroad, to act quickly in parallel with efforts by the military and security forces to free them, after the "sellers" and "buyers" went about their criminality and extortion using shameful methods. What is needed is to hasten to raise the issue at the highest level between Lebanon and Syria in order to obtain their release and to bring those involved and the criminals to justice to inflict on them the most more severe.
"Akhbar Al-Yawm" learned that "Abdel Karim Ali Wahbeh, Ali Kassem Wehbeh, and Mohammad Kassem Wehbeh kidnapped the two Syrian children, Muhannad and Ghaleb Majid Aroub, and sold them in exchange for a sum of money to people working for Hussein Abbas Jaafar, and Ali Mohammad was known to the criminal gang Jaafar, who is currently hiding inside Syrian lands, and Ali Mohammad Ayoub, who is also hiding inside Syrian lands, and the two children were transferred to Syrian lands.
A security source explains: "The information confirms that the two children are in the Syrian region of Jarmash, and that Rabih Kassem Awada, close to Hassan Abbas Jaafar and previously residing in Chrawneh, in Baalbek has moved inside Syria More than a year ago. He was seen for a short time in Chrawneh in conjunction with the abduction, and Naji Faisal Jaafar." The abduction and abductees reception activist and Matreba resident are keeping the two Syrian children in dangerous conditions, both physical and psychological.
The security source indicates that "the kidnappers demand 350,000 dollars in exchange for the release of the two children, and they manage to threaten the parents to kill the two children if they do not rush to pay the sum, and they also torture the two children in violation of all religious, moral and human rights values.
The source pointed out that "an army intelligence force carried out more than one raid operation in the locality of Chrawneh and Dar Al-Wasaa, and proceeded to search for the two children after providing information about their presence in the region, but they have not been found because they have been transferred inside Syria.
