Former MP Chamel Roukoz said to MTV: "The public sector is oppressed by its salaries and capabilities, which negatively affects productivity".
"The state must secure pensions that guarantee the dignity of employees, as the salary of an army general does not reach $200, but in order for the authority to increase salaries, it must not increase taxes on people equally, but rather impose them on the rich", he added.
