Al-Seyassah website learned that the contractor for the road works in Al-Masnaa is Qassem Hammoud, and his company is called Hammoud Contracting.

The company got the project from the Council for Development and Reconstruction, and according to preliminary information, it belongs to the Berri family.

It seems that Hammoud stopped the works because the state did not pay his dues.

It should be noted that the singer, George Al-Rassi, lost his life on al-Masnaa road due to a cement block placed in the middle of the road without lighting and without the lowest traffic safety standards.
