The Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued the following statement: "On 11/8/2022, an extraordinary tripartite meeting was held in Ras Naqoura, headed by the Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon and Head of Mission, Major General Aroldo Lazaro, and in the presence of a delegation of Lebanese Army officers headed by the Coordinator of the Lebanese Government at the United Nations Force Brigadier General Mounir Shehadeh.

The Lebanese side addressed the daily and repeated Israeli attacks on Lebanese sovereignty by land, sea and air, and reaffirmed Lebanon's commitment to Resolution 1701 and all its implications.
