MP Razi Al-Hajj revealed in a statement that the general rate of wheat import is about 588 thousand tons per year, in 2021, 754 thousand tons were imported, an increase of 166 thousand tons from the general rate, stressing that "the bread crisis and the continued humiliation of the Lebanese are due to the smuggling of subsidized flour and the use as livestock feed".

Al-Hajj put this fact in the charge of the competent judiciary, asking: - 3000 tons of wheat entered Lebanon from February 15, 2022, and we do not know their fate, and if they were discharged by smuggling, where are they?
