The non-binding parliamentary consultations of the president-designate Najib Mikati have ended, then he visited the president of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, in the morning, announcing that he handed him "the lineup of the government that I deem appropriate".

He did not disclose the content of this formation, and of course, many amendments will be made, before the government sees the light, and in this framework, parliamentary sources are likely to have a rotation in the ministries, especially in the portfolios of energy, economy and foreign affairs.

Sources said via "Akhbar al-Yawm" agency that the "ministry of energy" is likely to be taken by the Sunni community, pointing to the possibility of the Ministry of Health remaining in the same position without change, which is also a requirement for a number of politicians. While the Ministry of economy will not be with the Sunnis, it will be rotated in a number of portfolios, which is what Mikati is working on.

The sources pointed out that if Mikati faces some obstacles in his formation, the caretaker government will be in charge, but a similar thing will not be accepted by the Free Patriotic Movement. Until now, all the data indicate the possibility of the formation of a government, as it will take over of affairs after entering the presidential vacuum, which, according to sources, may be prolonged for several reasons, including local, regional and international accounts,

From here, the sources continued: the future Mikati's government will take over the organization of the country's affairs, most notably the agreement with the International Monetary Fund, the approval of the economic recovery plan with some amendments and the development of a clear plan for electricity, and this leads to talk about a possible change of the minister of energy, especially that the government's electricity plan will be put into effect after the formation, as the same parliamentary sources said.

So this government has many important entitlements and in the event that it is not formed, the caretaker government's taking over the affairs is a must.
