Visitors to the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, quoted him as saying that he "takes full care of all the issues raised, and he follows them up closely, based on his national responsibilities on the one hand, and his role in preserving the laws and regulations in force and preventing them from being violated on the other hand."

The visitors said: “The current stage is delicate and sensitive and requires special care to preserve stability in the country, and that the political debate complicates the situation, and that the army and other security forces are doing their duty to maintain security, and it is not permissible to create events or political climates that could negatively affect the course of stability.”
