Regarding his mission with the task of forming a government, he said: "I have been charged to complete this mission, I am optimistic and I am able to carry out this task."

He added, “I know my limits in the relationship between 'Hezbollah' and Iran, and our choice is Arabic, and we don't want Lebanon to be a channel of conspiracy against an Arab country.

Mikati stressed that "the August 4 explosion is a catastrophe that requires a great effort to deal with it, and we want to know the truth of who brought ammonium nitrate, and Judge Tariq Bitar is conscientious."
